Install on Windows
- Download
HuTaoCrypt-windows-x64.zipfrom the download site. - Extract the archive anywhere you like — the build is fully portable.
- Run
HuTaoCrypt.exe. Keep it in the same folder aspdfium.dll.
- Windows 10/11 x64. Static CRT — no extra runtime needed.
- No installer is required; delete the folder to fully remove the app.
Install on Arch Linux
- Download
HuTaoCrypt-arch-x64.pkg.tar.zstfrom the download site. - Install it:
sudo pacman -U HuTaoCrypt-arch-x64.pkg.tar.zst - Launch HuTaoCrypt from your application menu, or run
/opt/hutaocrypt/HuTaoCrypt.
- Requires glibc 2.38 or newer (current Arch satisfies this).
- Installs to
/opt/hutaocryptwith a menu entry. - All non-system runtime libraries (ffmpeg, glfw, sodium, pdfium, assimp) are bundled.
Install on Debian Linux

sudo apt install ./HuTaoCrypt-debian-x64.deb— apt resolves all dependencies automatically. - Launch HuTaoCrypt from your application menu, or run
/opt/hutaocrypt/HuTaoCrypt.
- Built on Debian 13, requires glibc 2.38 or newer.

/opt/hutaocryptwith a menu entry. - Folder dialogs use zenity/kdialog and clipboard support uses xclip/wl-clipboard — recommended packages installed automatically by apt.
